Official Website Design for SilMina (SIMN)

This project is the official website design for SilMina (SIMN), a “digital silver” initiative launched by the Canadian blockchain company Blue Lighthouse. Set within the fictional framework of Goldie City, the project constructs a digital polis centered on value, time, and rules. My role focused on translating this complex institutional system into a clear and engaging web experience, designing three core pages: SilMina, Goldie City, and Citizen Centre, along with supporting pages.
SilMina (SIMN) is a “digital silver” unit within the Goldie City system. It is not an asset or financial instrument, but a rule-based institutional unit. Goldie City is a decentralized, blockchain-based order that does not create or hold assets; instead, it provides a framework for the digital attribution and circulation of real-world value.
Conceptually similar to Bitcoin, SilMina is decentralized and algorithm-driven, functioning as a unit of circulation, measurement, and consumption to quantify actions and costs. In parallel, GolGera (GOLG), as digital gold, serves as the value anchor—representing storage and ownership—and forms a clear dual-layer gold-silver structure together with SilMina.
Users enter the system through a “citizenship” mechanism, participating in both the acquisition of SilMina and the governance of the city.
Initial research into cryptocurrency and NFT websites shows a strong emphasis on world-building and immersive storytelling. These projects sometimes sacrifice informational clarity in favor of narrative continuity and atmosphere. This reflects their core nature: unlike traditional products, their value is rooted in consensus, rules, and narrative systems. Users are not simply buying functionality, but aligning with a belief, story or vision. As a result, such websites rely heavily on visual language, narrative structure, and interaction rhythm. However, many current projects lean toward highly saturated visuals and aggressive marketing, which can lead to homogenization and reduced credibility.
The visual direction is defined by an ancient, humble, and mysterious tone, evoking the feeling of a long-buried civilization.Rather than futuristic aesthetics, the design emphasizes weight, structure, and historical depth. All elements are treated as if they possess physical presence, creating a restrained, immersive, and internally consistent world.

The homepage uses 3D web technology to construct an explorable digital ruin. Users navigate the space through scroll-driven camera movement, gradually uncovering the system’s structure and rules. Key concepts—including time logic, the nature of SilMina, GolGera’s role, and the “142857 Protocol”—are embedded along this journey. The experience resembles an archaeological exploration, where knowledge is discovered rather than presented.

By clicking the “Decode” button, users are directed to dedicated pages explaining key terms such as SilMina, GolGera, and the 142857 Protocol. A glossary-style navigation at the top allows seamless switching between concepts, forming a clear and continuous learning path.

Entering through a hidden passage from the homepage, users arrive in a mysterious landscape. As the camera moves across a barren desert, a golden city—powered by silver extraction and mechanical systems—gradually emerges. The scene culminates in a fully constructed hero view introducing Goldie City. Scrolling further, users descend underground, where information is revealed as if excavated: real-time gold and silver prices, SilMina’s market chart, and Q&A content presented on ancient parchment.

This page takes the form of a civic hall, presenting the citizenship system and enabling the core action of monthly SIMN claiming. Users interact with a central silver pool to claim their monthly allocation, turning abstract rules into tangible actions. As they scroll, a monumental stone tablet reveals the citizenship rules line by line, accompanied by contextual explanations. The experience concludes with an entry point to “Become a Citizen,” guiding users from understanding to participation.

This NFT is designed as a proof of citizenship within Goldie City, serving as a digital embodiment of identity and system logic. The form follows a metallic medallion, with a brushed silver outer ring engraved with “GOLDIE CITIZEN” and “In Service of the Realm,” conveying order, responsibility, and belonging. At its core, a high-relief “Golden City” represents the decentralized polis, while embedded mechanical gears reference the 99-year temporal system and its rule-driven operation. The overall aesthetic emphasizes weight and historical depth, positioning the NFT as both an identity marker and a material expression of the system.
