An Emotion Recording and Relief Service System
"ENO" means saying "NO" to the emotional state of "EMO"(Chinese internet slang). As the name suggests, the "ENO Emotional Companion" service system focuses on addressing the increasingly prominent psychological sub-health problems of young people, aiming to better help young people enhance their awareness of emotional management and maintain emotional homeostasis and mental health.
The "ENO Emotional Sprite" service addresses the growing mental health challenges among young people. It helps enhance emotional management and maintain psychological well-being through emotion monitoring, tracking, reminders, venting, sharing, and counseling.
Whether through surveys, data collection, or user interviews, we found that suboptimal mental health is widespread among young people.
Research shows young people see mental health as the top factor in a healthy lifestyle, surpassing sleep, diet, and exercise. In the survey, 42% selected "severely affected."
Research shows the mental health app market hit $5.19 billion in 2022 and is expected to grow by 17.7% annually. Surveys show young people urgently need a personalized tool to prevent emotional issues.
Competitive issues in the current market include the templated feedback from AI, the commercialization of psychological counseling, and the limited effectiveness in emotional relief. There's a noticeable market gap in nurturing AI that is tailored for individuals, providing immediate emotional awareness, and offering a more scientific approach to healing. These areas present opportunities for innovation and improvement in the field.
The “ENO Emotion Sprite” interface design is inspired by the five emotions from Inside Out, visualizing users' emotions as small sprites in their minds, like personal companions. Handling emotional issues feels like interacting with these inner companions. The system uses a soft candy color palette for a warm, user-friendly feel, with a spacious layout to reduce visual stress. Larger sans-serif fonts are used to balance professionalism and approachability.
